No.  There is nothing in the customer identification program regulations that requires searching databases to confirm the validity of a driver’s license.  However, if the driver’s license shows obvious indications of fraud, you must consider that factor in determining whether it can be used to form a reasonable belief that you know the customer’s true identity.
