What is the time frame for filing a Suspicious Activity Report?
Generally, you must file a Suspicious Activity Report within 30 calendar days after you first learn of the facts constituting the basis for the filing, except that if no suspect was identified when you first learned of such facts, you can delay the filing for an additional 30 calendar days to identify a suspect. In no case can the filing be delayed beyond this second 30 calendar days.
